Nicholas graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance. He enjoys the challenge of underwriting excess and surplus lines insurance, maintaining broker relationships, and managing a book of business. He specializes in habitational and contracting exposures and has been working in wholesale insurance since 2010.

In his free time, Nicholas enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking his boat out fishing, and golfing.

Nicholas specializes in Construction.

Started E & S carrier in 1986 in Boston with Exsure, a subsidiary of The Travelers Ins. I trained at Travelers as a commercial lines underwriter. In 1991 opened the Mass office for EA Kelley of RI, and continued to underwrite in Mass for Novatae. Current member of Soroptimist International - a worldwide non-profit organization, improving the well-being of women and girls. I am the former president and Governor of the Northeast region.

Dan Pratt joined the Rhode Island Novatae office in October of 2019 as a Producer in Training and has since become a Producer. He focuses mainly on Commercial Lines. When he is not quoting, he can be found spending time with his family and dog Sadie, golfing, swimming in mountain rivers, or on the sidelines of his twin stepdaughters’ soccer games.

Tina is an experienced insurance executive with over 25 years of experience.

Since 2004, with experience as a strategic partner to clients, brokers, and sales teams I've used agility, creativity, and tireless dedication, to uncover and develop every business opportunity. Whether building my client network as an active member of local business organizations, and programs to new brokers, or developing markets for hard-to-place business. My long-term goal is to grow the Boston, MA region and expand the P & C side to the topmost levels. Outside of work, I am a fashionista, and food/wine connoisseur, who loves to travel/boating and enjoys being a gymnastic/football mom for two kids.
